Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 4, 2026
AutoShare Pro ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website at https://autoshare.pro. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our social media scheduling service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address
- Username
- Password (stored securely as a cryptographic hash — we never store your actual password)
1.2 Social Media Account Data
When you connect a social media account (such as Pinterest), we collect:
- OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens (encrypted at rest)
- Your social media username and profile information
- Board/page names and IDs for content scheduling
Important:
We use industry-standard OAuth 2.0 authentication. We never ask for or store your social media passwords. Tokens are encrypted using AES-256 encryption and can be revoked by you at any time by disconnecting your account.
1.3 Content You Create
When you use our scheduling features, we store:
- Post content (titles, descriptions, links)
- Images you upload for scheduled posts
- Scheduling dates and times
- Publishing status and results
1.4 Technical Data
We automatically collect:
- IP address and browser user agent (for session security)
- Session activity timestamps
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide our service — authenticate your identity, connect your social media accounts, and publish scheduled posts on your behalf
- Manage your account — process subscriptions, maintain your profile, and provide customer support
- Communicate with you — send service notifications, account updates, and (with your consent) marketing communications
- Improve our service — analyse usage patterns to enhance features and fix issues
- Ensure security — detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access
3. Social Media Platform Integration
3.1 Pinterest
When you connect your Pinterest account, we request the following permissions:
- pins:read, pins:write — to create and manage Pins on your behalf
- boards:read, boards:write — to list your boards for Pin placement
- user_accounts:read — to display your Pinterest profile information
We only access your Pinterest account to perform actions you explicitly request (scheduling and publishing Pins). We do not access your Pinterest data for any other purpose.
3.2 Other Platforms
As we add support for additional platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X), we will request only the minimum permissions necessary to provide scheduling functionality. This policy will be updated accordingly.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
- Social media platforms — we send your content to the platforms you've connected, solely to publish posts you've scheduled
- Payment processors — if you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment provider processes your payment details (we do not store card numbers)
- Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or governmental request
- Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with prior notice to you
5. Data Security
We implement the following security measures:
- OAuth tokens are encrypted using AES-256-CBC encryption
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with automatic salting
- All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Sessions expire automatically and are validated on each request
- Database access is restricted and credentials are not exposed publicly
6. Data Retention
- Account data — retained while your account is active. Deleted upon account deletion request.
- Social media tokens — deleted immediately when you disconnect an account
- Scheduled posts — retained for your reference. You can delete individual posts at any time.
- Uploaded images — deleted when the associated post is deleted or upon account deletion
- Session data — automatically purged when expired
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:

- Correct inaccurate information via your account settings
- Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us
